Locally Handmade Organic Herbal Teas

Welcome to Good 4 You teas. The inspiration came a few years ago in a greenhouse full of medicinal plants and making a remedy tea one night from whatever spices and herbs were in the kitchen. These teas are all handmade, blended and packed from my own original recipes in Leverett, Massachusetts. After tons of research I have gathered the best locally grown, organic and/or fair trade herbs available. Try them in tea bags or loose. The tea bags are packaged in a biodegradable bag and placed in a 100% recycled box. The loose tea comes in a lined paper bag that includes 2 to 5 oz of tea. Amazing tea bath blends and a salve are also here to nurture the spirit. I hope you find something you love. Don’t hesitate to get in touch or even order a custom blend! I formulated the following seven teas for physical imbalances correlated with the chakra energy centers. To see what chakras need work, take the chakra test.

MISTY MORNING TEA

Crown chakra, lift the mind’s mist every morning, day or night! Great for studying & staying focused. Yerba mate, lemon grass leaves, lemon balm leaves, gotu kola leaves, gingko, rosemary, stevia, sage & feverfew. (CAFFEINATED)

WAKE UP AND LIVE TEA

Third eye chakra, an enlivening fruity-tart green tea blend for energy, strength & immunity. Turns purple when you brew it! Green tea, hibiscus flowers, schisandra berries, jasmine flowers, ashwaganda root & gingko leaves. (CAFFEINATED)

TALKING BLUES TEA

Throat chakra, for when you have the talkin’ blues. Great for musicians & the morning sore throat. Peppermint, ginger, orange peels, anise seeds, elderberries, eucalyptus, clove, lemon balm, red raspberry leaves, rosemary, thyme, hyssop, marshmallow root, licorice, stevia & sage.

SIMMER DOWN TEA

Heart chakra, a relaxing tea to help build a wall against stress. Strengthening and also great for the nerves. Hawthorn berries, oatstraw, nettles, schisandra, alfalfa, gingko, Eleuthero root (Siberian ginseng), Rhodiola rosea root, stevia, rosemary, skullcap, pink roses & lavender flowers.

THEM BELLY FULL TEA

Solar plexus chakra, great for mealtime or after. A spicy-sweet peppermint blend. Peppermint, ginger, cinnamon, nettles, dandelion leaves and root, lemon balm, orange peels, turmeric, stevia, marshmallow root, catnip leaves & cayenne.

COULD YOU BE LOVED TEA

Sacral chakra, relaxing, pleases the senses. Share with someone you love! Jasmine, ginger, cinnamon, kava, ashwaganda root, gingko, passionflowers, maca root, nutmeg, stevia & cardamom.

MELLOW MOOD TEA

Root Chakra, great before bedtime, quiets the spirit. German chamomile flowers, lemon balm leaves, ashwaganda root, valerian root, skullcap, catnip, yarrow & sage.

PURE BLISS CHAI TEA

Yerba mate, green tea, cinnamon, chicory root, nutmeg, ginger, clove, stevia, black pepper, cardamom & star anise. (CAFFEINATED) 2/3 milk to 1/3 chai heated together with honey is so good! Also made NON-CAF with green roobios or with VANILLA by request.

SUN SONG TEA

An amazing everyday longevity tea. Based on a traditional Chinese formula. You'll fall in love with this blend, especially if you love sweet teas. Licorice root, cinnamon, Eleuthero root (Siberian ginseng), peppermint and spearmint.

PEOPLE'S BLEND

A mint mate' inspired by People's Market at UMass Amherst. Nourishing and energizing. Yerba mate, peppermint, nettles & stevia leaves. (CAFFEINATED)

CHEER UP TEA

Immunity booster, great for colds or the flu. Peppermint, Echinacea purpurea root, ginger, lemon balm, elderberries & flowers, orange peels, thyme, cloves, catnip, yarrow & feverfew.

NATURAL MYSTIC TEA

Take a deep breath and inhale the mystic. Great for the lungs. A fruity-tart tea with minty undertones, so amazing! Peppermint, hibiscus, schisandra, ginger, cinnamon, eucalyptus, elecampane root, anise seed, thyme, hyssop, marshmallow root & licorice root.

FLOWER FRIENDLY TEA

A tea to help welcome the season's flowers. For seasonal discomfort. Green roobios, ginger, nettles, thyme leaves, ashwaganda root, calendula flowers, German chamomile flowers & golden rod.

ONE LOVE TEA

The ultimate tea for oneness and longevity! Rich in anti-oxidants, good for inflammation. White tea, ginger, gotu kola leaves, Eleuthero root, dandelion root, rosemary, German chamomile, turmeric, cat’s claw bark, calendula flowers and feverfew. (CAFFEINATED)

SATISFY MY SOUL TEA

Cleansing Tea. Free your body to help feel your soul! Hawaiian yellow ginger, nettles, dandelion root, burdock root, cinnamon, lemon peels, cat’s claw bark, stevia, cloves, black pepper & cardamom.

JUDGE NOT TEA

For body nourishment and purification! Great blood cleanser and therefore the skin too. Really earthy. Dandelion leaves & root, nettles, yellow dock root, burdock root, gotu kola leaves, milk thistle seeds, vitex berries, calendula flowers & stevia leaves.

POSITIVE VIBRATIONS TEA

A women’s tonic tea. For strength & harmony. Great at that time of the month. Nettle leaves, shatavari root (women's ginseng of India), dandelion leaves and root, alfalfa, gotu kola leaves, cinnamon, red raspberry leaves, red clover blossoms, rosemary leaves, vitex berries, dong quai root, stevia and sage.

MOON SET TEA

A women's tea during menopause. Nourishing, light and calming. Nettle leaves, oat tops, shatavari root (women's ginseng of India), dandelion leaves, lemon balm leaves, red raspberry leaves and red clover blossoms. (Black cohosh can be added by request)

MAMA & BABY TEA

A tea for nursing mamas. Relaxing, nourishing & so delicious. Ginger, jasmine flowers, nettle leaves & milk thistle seeds.

SOUL REBEL TEA

A men’s tonic tea. An everyday blend for strength, energy & vitality. Saw palmetto berries, nettles, alfalfa leaves, dandelion leaves & root, gingko, ginger, schisandra berries, ashwaganda root, maca root, cinnamon, stevia & licorice.

PEAK BLEND

A blend for athletes, ninjas and yogis! Strengthening and nourishing. Great for rebuilding harmony in the body after a strenuous day. 4 ginsengs (ashwaganda root, rhodiola rosea root, maca root, eleuthero root), nettles, oat tops, bee pollen, ginger, licorice & true cinnamon.

DREAM TEA

A dream enhancing tea. Jasmine flowers, blue vervain leaves, lemon balm leaves, gingko leaves, Artemsia leaves (mugwort), and lavender flowers.

FARMER'S WIFE BLEND

This tea was inspired by the Swartz Family Farm. It's for all the hard workers, especially farmers. Nourish and revive with this blend. It's great for the back. Nettles, alfalfa, oat tops, lemon balm, wild mint blend, meadowsweet and red clover blossoms.

Just GREEN Tea

Organic and fair trade gunpowder green tea. Green tea is great! Whole green tea leaves wrapped up into little balls. This was done for centuries to preserve freshness. Smells and tastes so nourishing! (CAFFEINATED)

Just WHITE Tea

Organic and fair trade white peony tea leaves. Delicious! White tea is picked earlier in the season, dried with the sun and known to have the even more anti-oxidants than green tea. (CAFFEINATED)

Just YERBA MATE Tea

Organic yerba mate leaves. I call yerba mate the green tea of South America! Super fresh, you'll feel one with the rainforest! (CAFFEINATED)

Just KUKICHA Twig Tea

Organic kukicha tea. The Japanese art of collecting stems and twigs from the green tea plant. They are then aged for a little while and finally finished with a light roast. Truly a sweet nectar! (LOW CAFFEINE)

Just JASMINE Flower Tea

Whole jasmine flowers grown without chemicals. Jasmine flowers are really relaxing. This tea is just the whole flower, so it's not mixed with green tea as it is regularly sold. Get the pure jasmine experience!

Just PEPPERMINT Tea

Organic peppermint leaves. I love peppermint to calm the nervous stomach. Just one sip of this peppermint and you will have minty dreams.

Just CHAMOMILE Tea

Organic and fair trade chamomile flowers. Gently relaxing, great for bedtime. Chamomile also has great anti-inflammatory action. In tea bags, chamomile is also great for puffy eyes, skin rashes and all sorts of topical irritations.

Just NETTLE Tea

Organic nettle leaves grown at Healing Spirits Herb Farm in Avoca, NY. Nettles are truly amazing, filled with vitamins, minerals and pure energy. I call it the seaweed of the land!

Just KAVA Root Tea

Freshly ground kava kava root powder (cultivated without chemicals). Kava is traditionally made in the South Pacific islands as a root tonic for relaxation and strength. Have it like a regular cup of tea or make it like the natives by squeezing the tea bag throughly in a cup of cold or warm water.

Just GINGER Tea

Organic ginger rhizome. Ginger is a great herb on its own, known to help with a vast array of ailments.
